Too stupid to be believed

...And all this time I thought that earthquakes were caused by the shifting of tectonic plates.

Iranian Cleric Ayatollah Kazim Sadighi, warned that women who dressed immodestly disturbed young men and the consequent agitation caused earthquakes. For another look at why earthquakes are caused see this idiots rantings here...

Iran doesn't like suntans.

Brig Hossien Sajedinia, Tehran's police chief, said a national crackdown on opposition sympathisers would be extended to women who have been deemed to be violating the spirit of Islamic laws. He said: "The public expects us to act firmly and swiftly if we see any social misbehaviour by women, and men, who defy our Islamic values. In some areas of north Tehran we can see many suntanned women and young girls who look like walking mannequins.

"We are not going to tolerate this situation and will first warn those found in this manner and then arrest and imprison them."

Question is, "How do they tell if a woman in a Burka is tanned?"

'Gay Dog' Refused Entry To Australian Restaurant
Huffington Post

An Australian restaurant has been forced to apologize and pay compensation after refusing to let a blind man enter because they thought his dog was gay.

In May 2009, Ian Jolly, 57, was attempting to dine at the Thai Spice restaurant in Adelaide, when he was refused entry after staff misheard his female companion, and thought his "guide dog" was a "gay dog."

"The staff genuinely believed that Nudge was an ordinary pet dog which had been desexed to become a gay dog," the owners said in a statement to South Australia's Equal Opportunity Tribunal.

Jolly is now set to receive a written apology and $1,400 compensation.

However, Jolly said that the situation had made him embarrassed about going to restaurants.

"I just want to be like everybody else and be able to go out for dinner, to be left alone and just enjoy a meal," he told Australian press.

His name is Nudge not Buffy...
